As a dabawenyo we are pretty much fond of eating durian. It’s rich custardy texture and strong exotic aroma entices anyone who has a particular taste for it. But just recently, someone came up with a brilliant idea to bring a twist to favorite fruit, by barbequing it of course! Barbequing durian is not a new thing but this trend has been the recent talk of the town because not only does it taste good, it leaves you craving for more. The grilling process reduces the moisture in the fruit making it extra creamy and it enhances the sweetness of the durian, it also adds a bit of a charred taste to it.
